Top 10 interview questions and answers you must prepare

Top 10 interview questiones you can not afford to miss being prepared for...

The key to be prepared for the interview is to confidently answer the common questions may be coming and impressing the interviewer with you answer. The following are some of the most difficult yet the best opportunity providing questions you might be asked in the course of your job interviews.
Some questions may seem rather simple on the surface—such as "Tell me about yourself"—but these questions can have a variety of answers. The more open ended the question, the wider the variation in the answers and this is actucally the catch.

Others are classic interview questions, such as "What is your greatest weakness?" Questions most people answer improperly. In this case, the standard textbook answer for the "greatest weakness" question is to provide a veiled positive such as: "I work too much. I just work and work and work." Wrong. Either you are lying or, worse yet, you are telling the truth, in which case you define working too much as a weakness and really do not want to work much at all.

The following answers are provided to give you a better view on how to answer tough interview questions and how to better react to them. They are not there for you to just copt and cram the exact words, but are provided for you to build the basic understanding about the idea behind the question and helping you to formulate your own answers. specifics ofeach reply may not apply to you, try to follow the basic structure and add your personal touch to it by using your own examples.

Just remember-Interviewers want to be sold. They are waiting to be sold. Dont dissapoint them!

1. Tell me about yourself.

It seems like an east start and the interviewer just just trying to have an intoduction...
Wrong. What the hiring manager actually wants, is a fast, 2 minute snapshot of who you are and why you're the best candidate for this position.

So while you start answering this question, talk about what you've done to prepare yourself to be the very best candidate for the position. Use an example or two to support your answer. Then ask if they would like more details. If they do, keep giving them example after example of your background and experience. Always point back to an example when you have the opportunity. It really leaves a good effect.

"Tell me about yourself" does not mean tell me everything. Just tell me what makes you the best.

2. Why should I hire you?
The easy answer is that you are the best person for the job. And don't be afraid to say so as your level of confidence at this stage really matters. But then back it up with what specifically differentiates you to give your final touch.

From my experience: "You should hire me because I'm the best person for the job. I realize that there are likely other candidates who also have the ability to do this job. Yet I bring an additional quality that makes me the best person for the job—my passion for excellence. I am passionately committed to producing truly world class results. For example…"
This was the answer that really impressed me while i was interviewing for an MNC. Not only these words, but how he said them made the real difference, his tone was convincing and his body language was supporting every single word he said.

And yes offcourse, Are you the best person for the job? Show it by your passionate examples.

3. What is your long-range objective?

The key is to focus on your achievable objectives and what you are doing to reach those objectives.

For example: "Within five years, I would like to become the very best accountant your company has on staff. I want to work toward becoming the expert that others rely upon. And in doing so, I feel I'll be fully prepared to take on any greater responsibilities which might be presented in the long term. For example, here is what I'm presently doing to prepare myself…"

Then go on to show by your examples what you are doing to reach your goals and objectives.

4. How has your education prepared you for your career?
This is a broad question and you need to focus on the behavioral examples in your educational background which specifically align to the required competencies for the career.

An example: "My education has focused on not only the learning the fundamentals, but also on the practical application of the information learned within those classes. For example, I played a lead role in a class project where we gathered and analyzed best practice data from this industry. Let me tell you more about the results…"

Focus on behavioral examples supporting the key competencies for the career. Then ask if they would like to hear more examples.

5. Are you a team player?
Almost everyone says yes to this question. But it is not just a yes/no question. You need to provide behavioral examples to back up your answer.

A sample answer: "Yes, I'm very much a team player. In fact, I've had opportunities in my work, school and athletics to develop my skills as a team player. For example, on a recent project…"

Emphasize teamwork behavioral examples and focus on your openness to diversity of backgrounds. Talk about the strength of the team above the individual. And note that this question may be used as a lead in to questions around how you handle conflict within a team, so be prepared.

6. Have you ever had a conflict with a boss or professor? How was it resolved?
Note that if you say no, most interviewers will keep drilling deeper to find a conflict. The key is how you behaviorally reacted to conflict and what you did to resolve it.

For example: "Yes, I have had conflicts in the past. Never major ones, but there have been disagreements that needed to be resolved. I've found that when conflict occurs, it helps to fully understand the other persons perspective, so I take time to listen to their point of view, then I seek to work out a collaborative solution. For example…"

Focus your answer on the behavioral process for resolving the conflict and working collaboratively.

7. What is your greatest weakness?
Most career books tell you to select a strength and present it as a weakness. Such as: "I work too much. I just work and work and work." Wrong. First of all, using a strength and presenting it as a weakness is deceiving. Second, it misses the point of the question.

You should select a weakness that you have been actively working to overcome. For example: "I have had trouble in the past with planning and prioritization. However, I'm now taking steps to correct this. I'm now using a plannning app to better plan and prioritize…" then pull out your mobile to show how you are using the app.

Talk about a true weakness and show what you are doing to overcome it.

8. If I were to ask your professors (or your boss) to describe you, what would they say?
This is a threat of reference check question. Do not wait for the interview to know the answer. Ask any prior bosses or professors in advance. And if they're willing to provide a positive reference, ask them for a letter of recommendation.

Then you can answer the question like this:

"I believe she would say I'm a very energetic person, that I'm results oriented and one of the best people with whom she has ever worked. Actually, I know she would say that, because those are her very words. May I show you her letter of recommendation?"

So be prepared in advance with your letters of recommendation.

9. What qualities do you feel a successful manager should have?
Focus on two words: leadership and vision. Then tell of how that leadership and vision translated into your personal delivered results.

Here is a sample of how to respond: "The key quality in a successful manager should be leadership—the ability to be the visionary for the people who are working under them. The person who can set the course and direction for subordinates, keeping them focused on what is most important for delivering the highest priority results. The highest calling of a true leader is inspiring others to reach the highest of their abilities. I'd like to tell you about a person whom I consider to be a true leader…"

Then give an example of someone who has touched your life and how their impact has helped in your personal development.

10. If you had to live your life over again, what one thing would you change?
Focus on a key turning point in your life or missed opportunity. Yet also tie it forward to what you are doing to still seek to make that change.

For example: "Although I'm overall very happy with where I'm at in my life, the one aspect I likely would have changed would be focusing earlier on my chosen career. I had a great internship this past year and look forward to more experience in the field. I simply wish I would have focused here earlier. For example, I learned on my recent internship…" then provide examples.

Stay focused on positive direction in your life and back it up with examples.

How much ola and uber drivers earn in 2016

How much does Ola / Uber drivers earn?
With the recent hype about cab drivers earning more than white collar jobs employees, It time we at MoneyDost clear the doubts.

This blog is for :-
1) People searching for a small business opportunity
2) Current drivers trying to figure out what they are actually earning

Let’s do maths😅

Assume you have saved 1.5 Lakh.
You would need 1.5 Lakh as down payment to get any decent hatchback like indica or Wagon R and set up EMI which will be 12,000 /- month.

With personal experience i can say the incentives are the real deal!
If you want to make money in this network, you need to run for the incentives
Now ola/uber provides different slabs for incentives based on number of rides which changes with time and your city
But if we sum it up for you... it keeps you running atleast for 14 to 18 hours accoring to how good the day is for you☺

With all the hard work you will put into it you will not be able to make more than 40K - 45K revenue a month (after paying for fuel cost and including all incentives).
This 45K comes from driving around 7000–8000 kms a month .

Now lets look at the Expenses

*12000 for EMI
* runming the car for 8000km per month will need all new tyres every year which costs approx 1500 per month
* 3000 for servicing
*12000-15000 for salary of driver
* approx 2000 per month in taxes
* approx 1000 per month for minor accidents

Which leaves you with just 8500 per month approximately.

Invested amount-1.5 lac
Efforts- Very high
Return Per Annum- 1,02,000

Asset buildup- 1.5-2 lac car due to high commercial usage

So Is It All About a Myth? Is ola/uber a lame deal?

Actually no! This can be turned into a decent earning business by cussting the following overheads:-

1) Drive yourself!

Just by driving yourself you can add 12000 to 15000 per month directly to your profit which makes a HUGE difference.

2) Buy the car!
And by this i mean do not go for financing options. No matter how attractive it may seem,

* Down payment Rs.1.5 lakh + Rs.12,000 as monthly instalment. Car worth Rs. 3 lakh costs around Rs. 5.5 lakh (as told by one driver). Bank finance involves certain formalities and documents such as income proof, tax returns, bank account details among others

* Buying a cab from Ola finance scheme: Down payment of Rs. 20,000 + Rs. 808 per day for three years. Insurance and maintenance are responsibility of Ola for three years, after which the driver is the owner of the car. With this financing scheme, a car worth Rs. 3 lakh costs Rs. 9 lakh, but the financing procedure is simpler

But we are here to make money right? And not just spending on these cab aggregators.

So if you buy a car you save a lot from your profit.
And even if you cant afford to buy a new flashy car from the showroom, just save enough to buy a decently used car from olx to put it on the job. So TADDA! Another  big part saved per month.

3) Get some part time drivers

To accomplish the targets, let some of your trusted friend or known drive a few hours for a few bucks in order to get your bussiness running around the clock!
It makes a major difference.

4) Learn how to get better fuel economy and maintain your car

Now this may sound a slow process but trust me it makes a difference.
With just good driving habbits you can add another piece of cake to your profits.

5) Provide extra services
Now this is a very unique idea where you can earn by using simple techinques.
Just by providing few services for a small charge, you can add upto your profits. E.g keep mineral water bottles and charge at MRP. Which fetch you approx 25% profit😎

6) Make happy customers and expect a tip
Tip is a right for a good service and if you make your customers happy, you can expect to get a tip for a happy ride.☺ Everybody is happy

Following the above meathods, you can expect real earning of around 30,000 from a car which is much more than most jobs these days and definately better than flipping burgers at McD or calling for hours at call centers for much lesser pay.

So the end if the story is, How good a player you are and how much can you make from it.

Do keep in touch with your blog from more money making ideas and making money to work wonders for you.
